Gifts of Dyslexia

In the book Dyslexic Advantage, Eide and Eide point out that though dyslexia has challenges, there are also gifts. These can include spatial reasoning, unique perspective, ability to make connections between events, and skill to imagine or predict outcomes of different scenarios. In addition to these strengths, individuals with dyslexia often develop an impressive amount of grit, perseverance, and willingness to take risks due to their journey in learning how to manage the challenges of their diagnosis.
