Services
Academic Language Therapy
ALT includes explicit reading instruction in addition to handwriting, spelling, oral language skills, written expression, and reading comprehension. ALT is most effective if the student receives at least 180 minutes a week.
Logistics
Sessions can be at the client's home, school, or library or (if appropriate) online through Google Meet. A scheduling calendar is available upon request.
Options
Beyond ALT
For students who do not need decoding work, sessions can focus on comprehension, writing composition, handwriting, and/or fluency. This work can also be done with the student's classwork/assignments.
Individual Instruction:
Work individually with your student at a pace and curriculum tailored to your student's needs. $85/hour*
Summer ALT
Summer ALT can focus on progressing through the curriculum, reinforcing specific skills, ALT focused help with summer work, and/or keeping up skills. Click here for a schedule of weeks offered.
Small Group Instruction:
Two students who need ALT at the same time and are at a similar instructional level. $60/hour*
